Computer Repair Services Across Alabama
The seven core service categories we run across every Alabama region we cover. Ship-in, drop-off, or on-site in DeKalb County and the northeast corridor. Written quotes first, flat-rate labor, and a thirty-day warranty on anything the bench sends back.
What We Handle
- Virus and malware removal — Deep cleanup of infected Windows systems, browser hijacker removal, ransomware triage, and the fake “tech support” scam chain shut down for good.
- Data recovery from damaged or failing drives — Logical recovery from formatted and crashed drives. Imaging first for mechanically failing drives before any write operation.
- Hard drive replacement and upgrades — Spinning drives swapped for SSDs, existing data cloned where possible, clean reinstalls documented where not. Memory upgrades on the same visit if the slots are open.
- Slow computer repair and speed optimization — Real diagnostics, not a blanket “tune-up” product. We identify whether the culprit is the drive, the thermals, the Windows install, or bloated background software, then quote the fix.
- Network troubleshooting and connectivity issues — Home and small-office Wi-Fi, router replacement, mesh setup, wired drops, and the boring-but-critical VPN-won’t-stay-connected ticket.
- Business IT support and maintenance — Small-business workstation support, patch management, shared printer and peripheral fixes, and monthly retainers for shops that want one number to call.
- Laptop screen work — Select models only; phone the shop before shipping or dropping off so we can confirm we stock the panel or can source it without a six-week wait.
Why the Service List Looks Like This
This list is deliberate. It is full enough that most Alabama searches for “computer repair near me” resolve to a page that actually matches the query, and tight enough that it reflects work we are set up to do well. A shop that lists sixty services is usually great at three of them; we list seven because those are the seven we do every week.
On Peripheral and Device Setup
Peripheral setup — new printers, scanners, tablets, and miscellaneous devices — is available when it is part of a broader system or network fix. A stand-alone “plug in my new printer” visit is not something we schedule separately, but the same ticket inside a network tune-up or new-computer job is straightforward.

Call with the machine type and the symptom. We can usually give a price range on the phone, schedule a drop-off or ship-in, and have a formal quote in your hands before any labor starts.
